Our winter wonderland

The first snow in our sweet red farmhouse was so beautiful and everything I had imagined it would be. We woke up Friday morning tucked away in a winter wonderland. I love winter for so many reasons, but to see the peak of the season here made me fall that much more in love. There was a enhanced beauty surrounding our home, and a deeper stillness that was so calming, I couldn’t help but get my camera out, roam around our land, and take pictures. I loved the way the snow made our red home just pop even more. I was truly so grateful for the sweetest of snow days spent with my husband by the fire, drinking hot chocolate, heating up frozen pizzas, watching so many movies, and just in constant cuddle mode. Getting bundled up to roam our land together, and have a fun mini photoshoot is truly a memory I will cherish forever. Thank you Lord for your provision. We will never stop inviting your presence to dwell in this place.

Also, I kept telling my husband that I hope one of our kids gets married here in the snow one day (hehe). I think you will see my reasoning below.
