They said “I do,” on the grooms family farm, right in the back yard where so many memories were made. This day was so sweet in every form of the word. Lauren and Blake, where to I even begin? Their joy is abundant, contagious, and is so transparent. Lauren was one of most special brides I have ever worked with. She simply let herself “feel.” She let herself laugh hysterically running in the fields instead of worrying about the bugs that were getting in her dress. She danced and kept saying “I feel like a princess.” She thought it was hilarious when the wind took off one of her eyelashes during pictures. She hugged every single vendor that was working hard to make her vision come to life and cried over just about everything she saw. Below you will see the cutest most emotional bride. But it was because she wanted to be fully present, to let her heart go to the places it needed to go without worrying about her make up running. She was exactly what I try to encourage all my brides to do, and that is to simply “be” and soak up every bit of glory, emotion, hug, tear, laugh, kiss, and step that you take on your wedding day. My favorite moment hands down was her first look with her dad. I truly had never seen anything like it. But I will just let the images below explain the honor it was to witness it. Lauren and Blake, thank you for inviting me in on the day you two became one. You radiate the love and light of Jesus and I am so blessed to know you. Also, huge shout out to my husband for being my amazing second shooter for this special day!
